International buyers on ebay - is your package ever stamped or dated?

Hey, everyone. I'm sure many can answer this, but I figured international buyers of ebay would know best. When you receive your packages sent by a seller on ebay, is the package stamped or dated by the post office with the date it was shipped? I sent a package out to a buyer and they are saying it is taking a while, but I know I sent it out shortly after payment, but don't really have the proof. I didn't date the customs form myself and just signed it, so does the post office or customs stamp the date or something for you to see when it shipped? Thanks!
